Analogue Addressable Systems

Aspirating smoke detectors (ASD) offer many advantages in addition to point detection. Continually sampling air through their sensors, they are sensitive and often called VESDA systems (Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm). Aspirating smoke detectors are able to detect smoke before it’s even visible, so they are a great option for early smoke detection requirements or hard to access areas.

These are normally situated in very high risk or less serviceable areas such as Server rooms, data centres or lift shafts or where the earliest possible alarm is required to limit damage.
